Fahrwerk für die R 1100 GS eingetroffen /Amortisseur .. Suspension ...

Gestern am Samstag...zum ersten mal seit ich Motorrad fahre (16Jahre) gönnte ich mir ein nagelneues Fahrwerk, bisher kaufte ich gebrauchte gut erhaltene. Lange habe ich nach einem passenden gebrauchten für die R1100 GS gesucht. Schliesslich sah ich ein unschlagbares Angebot von Oehlins! Das vordere Federbein ist zwar von einer GS die zwei Generationen weiter ist (R1200 GS) aber es passt!

Hier, samedi, pour la première fois dans ma carrière de motard (16 ans de pratique),  je me suis offert un amortisseur neuf ! Jusqu'à présent les pièces d'occasion en bonnes conditions ont toujours fait l'affaire. La recherche de la pièce rare a été longue et douloureuse, mais pour finnir, le nirvana ! l'offre qu'on ne peut refuser. The Oehlins ! (la les afficionados poussent un léger gémissement de plaisir, les autres.... grands point d'interrogation dans les yeux...) L'amortisseur est fait pour la 1200 mais passe comme par miracle sur la 1100. Merci à Andy TT suisse pour cette très bonne offre.

Yesterday, Saturday, my dream went true ! I got myself for the first time in 16 years a breand new suspension! So far I always bought good second hand pieces, but this time... the offer was too good, for a Oehlins's suspension (the insiders are now emitting a light growl kind of noise, the others ....big question marks in their eyes...) This is made for the 1200 but as by miracle it does fit on my 1100
